Visual Search Task Dataset: Environmental Clutter and Task Difficulty.

This dataset contains anonymised data from an online visual search experiment examining the effects of environmental clutter and task difficulty on reaction time and accuracy. Participants completed a visual search task in which they located a target object within images of desk workspaces presented under varying levels of clutter and difficulty. The dataset includes participant demographics, trial-level reaction time and accuracy data, subjective difficulty ratings used as a manipulation check, and responses to a custom Everyday Clutter Scale assessing typical clutter in participants’ home environments. Data were collected using Gorilla Experiment Builder and cleaned prior to analysis.
