Awareness and assessment of the EU regional policy. Topics: awareness of EU co-financed projects in the own city or region; sources of information on EU-support for the own region or city; assessment of the impact of the support on the development of the own city or region; awareness of: European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and / or Cohesion Fund, Interreg, European Solidarity Fund, Just Transition Fund, European Social Fund, Next Generation EU / Recovery Plan, Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, Connecting Europe Facility; personal benefit in daily life from a project funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) or the Cohesion Fund; impact of EU funded projects in the own area on personal identification as EU citizen; preference for concentrating support on poorer regions or for supporting all regions equally; prioritized regions to support: regions with high unemployment, border regions, deprived urban areas, developed regions in order to maintain their competitiveness, remote rural or mountain areas, islands and outermost regions, other; importance of supporting the own city or the own region by EU regional policy actions in the fields of: research and innovation, small and medium-sized businesses, renewable and clean energy, broadband internet access, environment, transport facilities, vocational training, education / health / social infrastructure, tourism and culture, reception and integration of refugees and migrants; preferred domains the EU should invest in in the next few years: research / innovation / digital technology, job creation and access to the labour market, environmental protection / water resources / climate action, improvement of transport connections, support for EU businesses and industry in strategic economic sectors, improvement of infrastructures for health and education, housing and energy efficiency, social inclusion and the integration of migrants and refugees, defence infrastructure and capabilities, cultural heritage and tourism, other; preferred level of decision-making about EU regional policy projects: local, regional, national, EU; awareness of cooperating regions from different countries due to EU regional funding; born in the region currently living in; planning to continue living in this region for the next five years; planning to leave this region for any of the following reasons: lack of quality jobs or limited economic opportunities, lack of affordable and quality housing, limited access to quality education or vocational training, remoteness and limited connectivity with the rest of the country and the EU, limited access to essential services, environmental and climate concerns, lack of trust in political environment of own region and country, none of these.
