Genome skimming of the pelagic shrimp Lucensosergia lucens

Genome skimming was conducted to obtain mitochondrial DNA and nuclear rRNA sequences of the pelagic shrimp Lucensosergia lucens (Sakura-ebi in Japanese). Samples of Lucensosergia lucens were collected both in Japanese and Taiwanese waters. Genomic DNA was extracted from each specimen using a DNeasy Blood & Tissue Kit (Qiagen). Total 1.0 ng of DNA was used for library construction of genome skimming using QIAseq FX DNA Library Kit (Qiagen), according to the manufacture's protocol. The quality and concentrations of the libraries were measured using TapeStation and Qubit, respectively. The raw 150PE sequence reads was obtained on Illumina HiSeq system.
