Thermal properties database for samples of the Upper Rhine Graben in the dry state at ambient temperature (black), water-saturated state at ambient temperature (blue), dry state at high temperature (red). Samples are in stratigraphical order. Data include lithology, measured porosity, measuring temperature, thermal conductivity and associated standard deviation, thermal diffusivity and associated standard deviation, calculated volumetric heat capacity and associated standard deviation, effect of water saturation and slope of the trendline of thermal conductivity as a function of temperature (Fig. 8).
