Cytoplasmic male sterility (CMS) in tomato is associated with the mitochondrial gene orf137. In this project, PacBio HiFi long-read sequencing was performed to analyze mitochondrial genome structure in tomato lines including mitoTALEN-induced mutants targeting orf137. These data were generated to investigate mitochondrial genome rearrangements and to better understand the genetic basis of CMS in tomato.
