Vibrio parahaemolyticus RIMD2210633 was grown in LB broth containing 0 or 1.5 percent ethanol at 37 centigrade with shaking at 200 rpm. Bacetial cells were harvested at the mid-log phase gowth (OD600 value of about 1.5). Total RNA was extracted. mRNA enrichment was performed using an Illumina/Ribo-ZeroTM rRNA Removal Kit (bacteria). Construction and sequencing of cDNA library was performed on an Illumina Hiseq platform.
