Ultrastructure and Transcriptome Analysis of Antennal Sensilla in Adult Dubia Cockroaches

This study aims to elucidate the sexual dimorphism in the chemosensory system of the Blaptica dubia (Dubia cockroach) by comparing ultrastructural differences in antennal sensilla and differential gene expression profiles related to chemical perception between sexes. The findings provide novel experimental evidence for understanding sex-specific adaptation strategies in the chemosensory mechanisms of Blattodea insects.
