资源简介:
Carbon monoxide (CO) is a valuable compound with wide applications across various industries, making its sustainable production highly desirable in the context of a bioeconomy. This study explores the potential of composting biowaste as a natural source of CO production. Microbial communities within two different zones of a compost pile, one with low CO concentration (119 ppm) and another with high CO concentration (785 ppm) were analyzed By using 16S rDNA sequencing, this study identifies the microbial populations present in these areas, providing insight into how specific community structures may influence CO levels during composting.
