Data was collected via a Qualtrics-enabled online survey, that was active between the 16th of December 2024 and 2nd of February 2025. The survey was promoted via participation invites that were distributed in all 31 colleges via posters and electronic promotion material that was distributed by student representatives (MCR/JCR or equivalent) and through internal college communications avenues. Survey explored attitudes and behaviours related to food consumption in Cambridge colleges framed in the COM-B, 4Ns and 4Cs frameworks. Four follow-up focus groups were conducted to expose in more depth the key themes identified from the survey data. 1st row contains the question or survey prompt. Subsequent rows contain responses, one response for each row. Gender identification data was self-determined by survey respondents by selecting from a list of options that was based on available guidance from the University of Oxford at the time the survey was designed.
