Dataset of Accessibility and Invisibility Analysis in Sports Centers from the International Ideas Competition on Invisible Accessibility

This dataset contains two files. The first file presents refined initial codes extracted from design proposals submitted to the International Ideas Competition on Invisible Accessibility. These codes were clustered into corresponding code groups. The second dataset includes the analysis of the effectiveness of accessibility measures and their level of invisibility in sports centers across three spatial categories: Entry, Spectator, and Swimming spaces.
In the first dataset, and in line with thematic analysis, initial codes derived from claims and quotes were refined and classified as passive (aspirational statements) or active (practical interventions). These codes were then grouped and collectively analyzed. The results were organized into themes corresponding to three sports-center categories: Inclusive Entry, Inclusive Spectator, and Inclusive Swimming Experiences.
In the second dataset, all codes were directly extracted from competition proposals and analyzed through a qualitative coding process. Active codes (representing practical interventions) were assessed for effectiveness using a Likert scale (1–5) and for their level of invisibility using the DARE framework (levels 1–3).
