BFI Catalogue Metadata Related to Textile

The BFI archive is one of the largest collections of film and television in the world, including a landmark collection of documentaries and industrial films commissioned by private industry, commercial sponsors, Government departments and independent charities. The datasets made available for the Congruence Engine project consists in a Json and Csv export from the BFI collection of 1,158 textile related works. This subset was created by Stephen McConnachie and sent by Ros Cranston at the beginning of the project. There is no information about the selection criteria, but it is very likely generated by a keyword search on the word ‘Textile’.
