Investigation of tuneable fabrication parameters in Gel Polymer Electrolytes for solid state batteries
收藏资源简介:
The transition to a carbon neutral society is dependent on the growing use of renewable electrical energy, made possible by electrochemical energy storage devices, such as batteries. Currently most of these needs are met by Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) due to their adequate energy density that makes them portable and convenient for applications from consumer electronics to electric vehicles. Gel polymer electrolytes (GPEs) have the stability benefit of a solid framework, whilst benefiting from the lower degree of crystallinity and superior interface compatibility for low resistance and high energy density LMBs. The ion conduction mechanism within such complex systems is dependent on the structure ¿ property relationships. Finally, trapping effect of liquid electrolyte in GPEs is a key point for their use in ASSB and that is why investigations on polymer structure is needed.
