The leading problem in preparing meals for babies in Japan was coming up with menus after the start of the weaning period. According to a survey conducted in February 2023, almost 74 percent of mothers stated that it was hard to think about menus to prepare for infants. Related to this trouble, 54.3 percent of respondents named the consideration needed for the nutritional balance of infants up to one year of age as common trouble in cooking.
