In the current study, our results showed that the supplement of Lactobacillus reuteri CGMCC 17942 and L. plantarum CGMCC 14407 effectively prevented CGS formation and they ameliorated gut microbiota dysbiosis by increasing the relative abundance of Muribaculaceae or Akkermansia, which were significantly negatively correlated with grade and incidence of CGS, level of serum T-b-MCA, or liver Fxr mRNA level.
