Gene expression responses of tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum) to the early phase of acute infection by Flavobacterium oreochromis

Understanding the genetic mechanisms that control the immune system of tambaqui in response to this infection is fundamental for the development of tambaqui production. This study aimed to investigate the genetic effects caused by F. oreochromis infection in tambaqui juveniles by comparing gene expression levels between symptomatic (IS) and asymptomatic (IA) individuals.
