This repository contains all supplementary material for the manuscript: Why didn’t the quail cross the road? Using whole-genome data to evaluate roadways as barriers to gene flow in a North American ground-dwelling bird Specifically, included in this repository are the supplemental methods, figures, and tables referenced in the body of the manuscript (SupplementalMaterial_Curti_20250403.pdf). We have also included a database of all samples and their associated metadata (CAQU_seq_metadata_20250325_final.csv). Finally, we have included the habitat suitability model generated using MaxEnt (maxent_pred_ClimateNA_californica.tif), the road presence (RoadPresence.tif) and traffic volume (TrafficVolume.tif) spatial layers, and the spatial extent polygon for all spatial analyses (StudyExtent.zip).
