Data for: Evaluation and Optimization of Optical Sorting of Mixed Plastic Waste: A Modular Framework with Multi-Site Field Validation

This repository contains the public test datasets supporting the cross-site evaluation of optical sorting of mixed plastic waste. It includes three localization test sets and three classification test sets collected from three material recovery facilities (MRFs). The localization test sets contain images and corresponding annotation files. The classification test sets contain single-object images covering all categories evaluated in the study. The training datasets and field-operation records are not publicly available because of industrial confidentiality restrictions.
