资源简介:
This BioProject investigates bio-enhancement strategies for constructed wetlands (CWs) treating saline aquaculture wastewater, aiming to mitigate salinity-induced microbial inhibition and excessive greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Through comparative analysis of CWs augmented with submicron magnetite (Mag) and intertidal zone sediment (IWS), this project employs metagenomic sequencing to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanisms. Key focus areas include the characterization of magnetite-mediated direct interspecies electron transfer (DIET) for salt stress alleviation and the activation of the sulfur cycle for carbon footprint reduction. The research clarifies the shifts in microbial metabolic energy partitioning from osmotic regulation toward functional nutrient removal pathways, providing a mechanistic framework for sustainable high-salinity wastewater remediation
