Sixty-six sweet potato germplasms from different localities around Korea and several foreign cultivars are collected and used to identify genetic diversity of sweet potato. The sweet potato young leaves (30 days after cut planting) were harvested and used to extract genomic DNA. Sixty-six sweet potato samples are sequenced by Illumina Hiseq 2500 platform. These data are used to detect single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) markers for genotyping.
