Number of injuries at the workplace in Italy 2019-2023

In Italy, there were almost 600,000 non-fatal injuries at the workplace in 2023. The figure decreased by 16 percent compared to 2022, when the largest number of injuries was recorded since 2019 at least, with 704,000 cases. These injuries caused employees to be unable to work for an average of 32 days in 2023.
