Despicable “other” and innocent “us”: Emotion politics in the time of the pandemic

The file contains 227 articles that we collect from HQSB's public WeChat account between January 1st, 2020 (the day after the World Health Organization was first informed of a cluster of cases) and February 16th, 2021 (the date when our data collection ended). We select the articles that contain the keyword "新冠" (Covid) and contain at least one mention of a foreign country to ensure their international focus. And it contains 7 files that include our texts subject to content analysis.
