The datasets contain fluorescence microscopic analyses of the uptake and accumulation of idarubicin, daunorubicin, doxorubicin in S. cerevisiae ATCC 9763 cells. The cells were suspended in PBS and incubated for 5 minutes and 1 hour in the presence of the compound at a concentration of 100 µM. Subsequently, the cells were examined using theLSM 800 inverted laserscanning confocal microscope (Carl Zeiss) equipped with an Airyscan detector and a ×63 1.4 NA Plan Apochromat objective. Imaging. The scale bars correspond to 5 µm.
