Spectral Beam Splitting and Concentration Mechanism for Stirling Engine-based Concentrated Photovoltaic Thermal System for Flat Rooftop Implementation

This research improves solar energy systems by combining concentrated solar panels with Stirling engines to use sunlight more efficiently. Traditional solar panels waste energy and heat up, lowering their performance. The new system splits sunlight into parts: one powers solar cells, the other drives a Stirling engine to generate extra electricity. The design focuses on making this system compact enough for rooftops without losing power. A mathematical model was created to find the best way to split sunlight. Experiments on a rooftop prototype confirmed the design’s accuracy and efficiency, showing promise for practical, space-saving solar power solutions.
