Jobs supported by UK exports

The research was carried out by the Fraser of Allander Institute at the University of Strathclyde on behalf of the Department for International Trade (DIT). The research is the first attempt in the UK to produce a comprehensive set of indicators to estimate the number of jobs and associated incomes supported by exporting activity in the UK. The estimates include breakdowns by: - effect type (direct, indirect, induced) - sector - export destination - region (UK NUTS1 level) - personal characteristics (gender, age, occupation and qualifications)
