Wide-field amacrine cell inputs to ON parasol ganglion cells in macaque retina

Using serial block face electron microscopy, a large, high magnification, volume (~200x200x65 microns) of image data was created from macaque retina. Annotators carefully followed cells through the volume, ultimately discovering that a wide-field amacrine cell was making synapses onto ON Parasol ganglion cells.
