Indian Edible Oil Seed Dataset

This dataset comprises a comprehensive collection of 14,745 high-quality JPG images of edible oil seeds commonly cultivated in India. The dataset covers nine major seed types: Black Sesame Seeds, Groundnut Seeds, Mustard Seeds, Safflower Seeds, Sunflower Seeds, Soybean Seeds, White Sesame Seeds, Niger Seeds, and Linseeds. Images were captured following standardized procedures ensuring consistent lighting, resolution, and background, making the dataset suitable for research in seed identification, classification, and machine learning applications.

The dataset aims to support researchers and practitioners in developing automated systems for agricultural quality assessment, crop monitoring, and biodiversity studies.
