A Genome Assembly of a Meloid Beetle (Meloe dianella) Provides Insight into Genome Size Evolution in Beetles and Cantharidin Production

We provide a high quality genome of a Wolbachia endosymbiont extracted from a Meloe dianella beetle. This study focused on characterizing the genome present in the beetle assembly and provides insight into the role of Wolbachia in beetle species.
