The National Rifle Association and Media Framing Dataset

This project examines the relationship between media and the National Rifle Association, more specifically, the media framing of the NRA as a US gun lobby. This involved the study of 100 editorials from two major publications: 50 from the New York Times and 50 from the Washington Times. A content analysis was conducted on these articles to reveal the most prevalent frame each publication used to depict the National Rifle Association.
