Dataset for the research article "Dependence of the Helmholtz Layer Capacitance on Interfacial Charge Density at Polarizable Liquid|Liquid Interfaces"

This dataset contains all experimental and simulated data for the article "Dependence of the Helmholtz Layer Capacitance on Interfacial Charge Density at Polarizable Liquid|Liquid Interfaces". The dataset contains a README file with details of all of the raw data files (typically .TXT files) used to prepare each Figure in the Article and Supporting Information. The README file also contains descriptions of methods used for collection/generation of data, methods used for processing the data, instrument- or software-specific information needed to interpret and use the data, and standards and calibration information (if appropriate). The dataset includes the raw data extracted from the potentiostat software just after measurement, the simulation outputs applying the mathematical model presented in the main text of the Article, and the Excel files employed to fit the experimental data with the model. A tutorial Movie is also provided. In this movie, we guide researchers step-by-step on how to simulate the differential capacitance at a polarizable liquid|liquid interface using the Excel files provided.
