Disruption of TDP-43 inhibits stemness of mammary epithelial cells

Here, we sought to investigate the effects of TDP-43 on proliferation and stemness of mammary epithelial cells (MECs). The results demonstrated that TDP-43 expression levels were ubiquitous in mouse mammary epithelial cells. Knockdown of TDP-43 inhibited proliferation of MECs and induced cell cycle arrest at the G1 phase.
