lncRNA-seq of piglets infected with PEDV

LncRNAs as potent molecules in numerous cellular functional activities including viral infections, yet the mechanisms by which lncRNAs regulate the intestinal barrier against viral infection remain poorly elucidated. Here, we identified a key regulatory molecule for intestinal barrier regulation. Firstly, we established a standard system for evaluating intestinal barrier integrity in PEDV-infected and healthy piglets, and obtained confirmed individuals with extreme phenotypes of intestinal barrier damaged and intact piglets for lncRNA-seq.
