Cultures of Cylindrotheca closterium strain ZW2.20 (MT+) were conditioned with extracted SIP-containing filtrate from strain CA1.15 (MT-). Two hours after administration of the filtrate, cells were re-illuminated after a 24-h dark arrest. After illumination, triplicate RNA-sequencing was performed for both control and SIP-treated cultures at two time points: 3h and 9h.
