Nfil3, a target of the NACA transcriptional coregulator, affects osteoblast and osteocyte gene expression differentially

Using ChIP-Seq, we show that Nfil3 is a transcriptional target of the PTH-NACA axis in osteoblasts. We also show that Nfil3 transcription is, by part, regulated by NACA and CREB. Finally, we show that Nfil3 has a distinct role in osteoblasts vs osteocytes Examination of NACA binding to the Nfil3 promoter in Vehicle versus PTH(1-34)-treated MC3T3-E1 osteoblast like cells.
