资源简介:
Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) has been tested for the prevention and treatment of various extra-intestinal diseases, but its efficacy is not stable, which is related to the unclear mechanism and the lack of individualized matching donors. In addition, the high cost and low efficiency of donor screening have also become obstacles to the clinical application of FMT. In this study, college students were identified by traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) constitution and fecal samples of single constitution volunteers were obtained. The characteristics of gut microbiota of each constitution were analyzed. It was found that there were significant differences in gut microbiota between biased constitution and balanced constitution. Moreover, in this study, TCM constitution identification was introduced into donor screening whose results showed that volunteers with balanced constitution had a higher proportion of qualified fecal bacteria donors through various biochemical tests, and animal experiments also showed that there were significant differences in weight loss effects of FMT among different constitution donors. This study provides an important reference for the application of TCM constitution theory in improving the screening efficiency of FMT donors and the feasibility of matching donors with individualized treatment of recipients.
