Cyclostratigraphic data and analyses of the Mesoproterozoic Hakatai Shale in the Grand Canyon (Arizona)

This file contains raw logs and time-series analysis outputs of stratigraphic cyclicity observed in the (ca. 30-m-thick) Cheops Pyramid member ('orange unit') of the Mesoproterozoic Hakatai Shale (Unkar Group, Grand Canyon Supergroup) in central-eastern Grand Canyon. Raw stratigraphic logs are based manual field measurements and 3D photogrammetry models of the outcrops as studied in the Red Canyon and Tapeats Creek areas, and were collected during a three-week field campaign in October 2023 under the U.S. National Park Service scientific research permit #GRCA-2023-SCI-0041.
