This project provides Python scripts designed to automate the processing, analysis, and visualization of Land Surface Temperature (LST) data from Landsat-8. Utilizing the Google Earth Engine API, the script facilitates the examination of urban heat island effects by analyzing LST data over various timeframes and geographical regions. The scripts includes functions for downscaling LST data using machine learning techniques based on normalized difference indexes (NDVI), enabling enhanced data visualization. It is designed to handle LST data in Kelvin, convert it to Celsius, and allow users to visualize the data using interactive maps and detailed graphical outputs. This tool is ideal for urban studies, climate change research, and environmental monitoring.
