*For calculations of sensitivity and specificity the absolute numbers in the RDT negative group were multiplied with a factor of 5.14 to account for that only a sub-sample, i.e. 733 of 3768, in this group were subjected to blood sampling on filter paper for PCR.**For calculations of sensitivity and specificity the absolute numbers in the RDT negative group were multiplied with a factor of 5.01 to account for that only a sub-sample, i.e. 739 of 3768, in this group were subjected to blood sampling for BS microscopy.
