Italian PhD graduates living abroad 2018, by field of study

In 2018, 32.1 percent of Italian doctoral graduates in physics lived abroad. This field of study registered the largest percentage of PhD graduates who moved abroad. In addition, 23.6 percent of people who achieved a doctorate in mathematics or computing left Italy to live in another country. In total, 13.2 percent of all Italian doctoral graduates moved abroad.
