In this study, derived from high-concentration powder carrier bio-fluidized bed (HPB) technology, a novel ultra-high biophase HPB (UBH) technology was proposed to address the needs of high-ammonia wastewater treatment. The microbial communities and metabolism in UBH system were explored by metagenomic analysis.
