This work aimed to elucidate the bacterial dynamics and biochemical processes associated with the biodegradation of the persistent fungicide epoxiconazole. To achieve this, we designed a multi-omics assay to study the genotypic, phenotypic and metabolic traits linked to this catabolic process, aiming at elucidating the biodegradation pathway by highlighting the key genes and proteins and the main metabolites resultant from this process.
