RNA-seq reveals transcriptome changes which could be responsible to insulin in insulin resistance states

To explore genes that could be responsible to insulin in insulin resistance states (IR), we generated the IR mice models (mice after 6 weeks of high-fat feeding). Overall design: We carried out liver transcriptome analysis between IR mice treated with exogenous insulin and such mice injected with a bovine serum albumin (BSA) vehicle control. For the insulin-treatment, the mice were fasted overnight (16h) and stimulated with insulin (0.75 units/kg body weight, i.p.) or its vehicle BSA for 6 h.
