Genome assembly of the hybrid grapevine Vitis Chambourcin

Vitis Chambourcin is a hybrid grape species and we have developed a de novo genome assembly using PacBio HiFi and Bionano sequence data. The primary assembly consists total 26 scaffolds with genome size of 493,554,689 Mb and N50 of the primary assembly is 23,325,629 Mb which suggest that this assembly is more contiguous. The haplotigs assembly consists of 38 scaffolds, genome size of 375,458,233 Mb and N50 12,462,019 Mb. The gene annotations (.gff, CDS, proteins) and genome assembly of V. Chambourcin will provide a good resource for Vitis (grape) research community.
