Forest terrestial lidar, 2016

The data includes 18 point clouds which have been scanned in 2016 from Lapinjärvi area, Finland (60.67°N, 26.12°E), using Leica P40 terrestrial laser scanner. Each point cloud represents one plot, and can be downloaded in laz (i.e. compressed las) format. Point clouds are available both as non-decimated single scan data which extends until the maximum scanning distance (circa 120 m, in case there are no obstacles), and as a moderately decimated co-registered combination of five distinct scans up to 12.5 m radius. Tree measurements related to the scanned plots up to 20 m radius and a set of photos are provided as well.
