The data consists of an excel workbook with five sheets;1. Location and mineralogy of samples of salt taken from the land surface.2. Location and elemental composition of aqueous extracts taken from surface sediments, on a 1 x 1 km grid.3. Weathering criteria (frost cracks, glacial polish, tafoni, wind pits, sand accumulations) on a 1 x 1 km grid.4. Glacial sediment grain size statistics, from samples collected on a 2 x 2 km grid.5.
