This dataset comprises de-identified survey responses from 288 global stakeholders in decentralized clinical trials (DCTs), collected between August 6 - September 9, 2024.The survey included 50+ questions addressing:- DCT implementation practices and frequency- Preferences for full vs. hybrid DCT models- Deployment of specific DCT elements (electronic consent, patient-reported outcomes,   telehealth, wearable devices, etc.)- Perceived barriers to DCT adoption by stakeholder type- Success factors and enablers for DCT implementation- COVID-19 pandemic influence on DCT adoption- Recommendations for advancing DCT adoptionRespondents included:- 42% Sponsor/Pharmaceutical company representatives (31%)- 25.7% Contract Research OrganizationTechnology provider representatives (26%)- 29.2% Hospital/Medical center/site personnel (23%)- 3.1% Other stakeholdersRespondents represented 38 countries across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific , and other regions. Respondents included staff at various seniority levels (32.3% Associate/Operational, 27.4% Middle Management, 39.6% Executive/Senior Management) with varying experience in DCT implementation.The dataset has been de-identified to protect respondent privacy while maintaining research reproducibility. Individual respondents are not identifiable from the dataset. Data is suitable for secondary analysis, reproducibility verification, and research on global DCT implementation trends.De-identification methods and data dictionary are provided as supporting files.
