B10K Reference Genome Project. Birds

Reference genomes for all > 10,000 bird species. This umbrella BioProject ID collects all assemblies of bird genomes that reach the VGP metric (PRJNA489243), but grouped under B10K page, and that are publicly available to the community. The aspired metric minimum to be included in this list as of February 2017 are assemblies that have a contig N50 > 1Mb, scaffold N50 > 10Mb, 90% of the assembly assigned to scaffolds that represent chromosomes, base call accuracy of QV40 or greater, and haplotype phased as much as possible.
