资源简介:

The Sandia National Laboratories DAS system installed at Oliktok point, Alaska, consists of 37.6 km long single-mode oceanic cable connected to a Silixa iDAS interrogator. The cable extends offshore into the Beaufort Sea and it is emplaced below the seafloor interface at depths of 2 m up to 16 km, and 4 m beyond. The installation is presented and described in detail in Baker and Abbott (2022) and Stanciu et al (2023). Baker, M.G., Abbott, R.E. (2022). Rapid Refreezing of a Marginal Ice Zone Across a Seafloor Distributed Acoustic Sensor, Geophysical Research Letters, 49, 24, https://doi.org/10.1029/2022GL099880 Stanciu, A.C., Frederick, J.M., Baker, M.G., Abbott, M.G., Conley, E.W., Solomon, E., Jones, K. (2023). Using Distributed Acoustic and Temperature Sensing to Characterize the Rapidly Changing Nearshore Arctic Ocean (PEMDATS), presented at 2023 SSA Annual Meeting, 64, San Juan, Puerto Rico, 17-20 April
