Cohesin complex is involved in chromatin organization by forming chromatin loops at particular gene loci and regulate gene expression in post-mitotic cells. The formation of chromatin loops facilitates enhancer-promoter interaction, and alters a chromatin structure. Here, we examined the role of cohesin on chromatin state of embryonic and adult neural stem cells.
