Neutral Density tides from GRACE Follow-On Observations for 2020

Thermospheric density observations from the GRACE-FO mission are used to derive neutral density tides at 500 km for 2020. For a detailed description of the data processing and tidal retrieval, see Neogi and Oberheide (2026). Amplitudes and phases are provided as functions of latitude (80°S–80°N), month, and tidal component. The dataset includes four migrating components (DW1, SW2, TW3, QW4) and twelve nonmigrating components (D0, DW2, DE1, DE2, DE3, S0, SW1, SW3, SW4, SE1, SE2, SE3). Amplitudes are absolute density perturbations (kg m⁻³), and phases are universal time (hours) of maximum perturbation at 0° longitude. Monthly zonal-temporal mean density at 500 km is also included for computing relative tidal amplitudes.
