Site measurements for exploring soil temperature and soil water level effects on soil carbon emissions in global cold and wet ecosystems.

We compiled soil carbon emissions, soil water level, and soil temperature observations from 187 sites within global cold and wet ecosystems. The measurements were collected either from peer-reviewed literature, digitized using WebPlotDigitizer (version 4.6), or from publicly available datasets. These site-scale measurements were used to exploring exploring soil temperature and soil water level effects on soil carbon emissions in global cold and wet ecosystems.
